The Chain Bridge

Continue your walking tour through the Nuremberg town center by crossing over the river Pegnitz on the Chain Bridge ("Kettensteg" in German). The bridge was first constructed in 1824 and is the oldest example of a pedestrian chain bridge in Europe.
